NOTE: The editor and founder of this publication, P. Jack Reed, offers his services today as an expert witness specific to either civil actions, or better yet, criminal prosecutions of American psychiatrists subject to such prosecution in our otherwise great nation's criminal courts. In this latter sense, I ask no more than straight up costs with no nature of fee arrangement; while in the former case, a contracted flat fee grounded in possible awards via a successful civil action, no more than 6% depending upon on the specific issues most at stake.
And yes, since this public blog was first published in April, 2012, a justifiable and wholly righteous process that did serve to bring about long past due federal oversight and intervention specific to the hospital wide corruption and the bad acting American psychiatrists working for the Arizona State Hospital circa 2011-2015, nothing has changed in lasting fashion.
Facts being facts, these are the kind of American who do not believe in changing their own behaviors, no matter how far permitted these chosen behaviors are, in fact. They feel it does not matter because they are trusted to care mentally ill persons, mirroring the age old prejudices towards mentally ill Americans. They are out only enemy, these kind of doctors, and while the general public very much pose risk the heath and safety of mentally ill Americans, this remains a distinct consequence of a highly corrupt American Psychiatric Associations, and a collective membership that has never cared to see its own patients as fully deserving human beings.
Key players: Robert Munjal. Ira Gaddy. Colby Wang. Steven Dingle.
Doctors one and all, who are not really doctors, in fact. They blew that chance long ago, saps that they so tend to be.
The changes you want may not the changes that occur, in fact. The status quo you defend may be jaded on the surface, if not blasphemy in substance. It is a Christian sin to beat up on or to mistreat vulnerable human beings. It is morally wrong to act better than others. And it is unethical to take unfair advantage of lesser fortunate human beings.
News Byte:
February 13, 2026: "The Senate Health & Human Services Committee voted to advance SB 18-13, a measure that would allow the Arizona State Hospital (ASH) to admit patients based on clinical need and remove explicit county‑of‑residence admission limits. The committee adopted amendments that removed an earlier provision requiring U.S. citizenship for ASH admission. (see: az.gov)
Here too, challenges to the blatantly discriminative denials of access to inpatient mental health care, the chilling blanket restrictions that are once again forcing many seriously mentally ill American citizens onto the very dangerous streets of our otherwise great nation. The public continues to pose grave risk towards SMI persons, and this has been proven again and again in the history of USA.
And none of this has anything to do with US citizenship in and of itself. It's about human beings who deserve to be seen as such. Hardly too much to ask. Or so I contend.
But does the American Psychiatric Association, or its many bad acting collective membership, give a shit? Hell no they don't, that would defy the perverted status quo, while also demanding that these kind of doctors behave in accordance with well established medical standards, not to mention the rule of law.
And while the following is extreme, I contend herein that this is precisely what it looks, and what is often feels like, when unethical bad acting American psychiatrists choose to punish patients who do not one thing wrong, in fact. As has been the history of my own behaviors when seeking to trust these kind of medical professionals. They are not trustworthy, nor do they give a rat's ass about medical and health care ethics.
"President Donald Trump on Monday threatened countries around the world to abide by any tariff deals they agreed to, despite the US Supreme Court striking down many of his far-reaching taxes on imports.
"Any country that wants to “play games” with the Supreme Court decision, Trump posted, will be met with “a much higher Tariff, and worse, than that which they just recently agreed to."
Pompous, egocentric people suck, and white or wannabe white men do it the most. And as much as they might choose to deny it, these are people who cannot wrap their heads around such simple premise. It's inhumane and deeply harmful to exercise punitive retaliation in any of its forms against seriously mentally ill Americans who choose to openly comment on their own flow of treatment, regardless of the respective circumstances.
Case in point. In the very early hours of December 25, 2019, this seriously mentally ill American citizen was subjected to and victimized by a very hateful false accusation; wherein a staff technician working for Providence-St. Patrick's hospital in Missoula, MT, accused me of psychically attacking her.
But those people, Dr. Robert Munjal, et al, who has long worked as a primary attending psychiatrist on this hospital's acute in-patient "NBMI" unit, felt that it was just fine for me be so horrifically mistreated. What Munjal sought to do is 100% consistent with how these bad acting psychiatrists always seek to do. Minimizing the reality at issue, always to their own self serving interest.
And, as the following five days, Dec. 24-29, 2019, played out, my own struggles with what was a definable crisis upon my admission to this NBMI unit worsened on proximate response to the constant denial of what had actual happened there on that date, Christmas morning, 2019.
And to further illustrate how very dangerous many people working in out nation's always dysfunctional public mental health care system all too often are, when I further sought some nature of redress specific to the harms that this false accusation imposed upon me, a psychiatric 'physician's assistant' named Beth stated the following, verbatim:
"Have you not been able to put that behind you yet? We certainly have."
As one of many survivors of childhood trauma if not abuse, I attest that these words are 100% consistent with the language so heavily demanded upon by abusers of vulnerable human beings.
Any person who sees others in this way is patently dangerous to American values and principles, and they prove as much with their own chosen words and overt behaviors. Yet they still dominate our nation's always fucked up public mental health care system, little different from the past.
Definitive blaming and shaming of victims of abuse, right down to the letter. These are the ugliest Americans in the book, people who enjoy taking unfair advantage of vulnerable human beings, who seek such opportunity for it feeds their own depraved mindsets. These are the kind of people we talking about here, monsters who managed to get into and to graduate from medical school.
Fact being, in these United States today, psychiatry itself attracts the very worst medical students, and in this, I refer to the void in ethos and patent ignorance specific to the highly impatient aspects of American culture. Such as the Civil Rights movement and the founding of the Civil Rights Act in 1964. These are Americans who were raised in such a way that these standards of the American way are less than embraced, who were taught to believe that mentally ill persons are of lesser worth.
They are the same kind of people who were in support of slavery circa the darkness of the 19th century, which not so coincidentally is when the APA itself was founded. And today's American psychiarists more often than not carry on just as miserable as they did in the not so long ago past, in the era of the horror show hospitals of the mid to late 20th century.
These doctors trod all over the civil rights of their own trusting patients, assuming that we are nat able to understand our own rights, and reacting in violence when one of us can and does speak out in defense of these rights. Punitive retaliation is violent in and of itself, and violent persons have no right to care for highly at risk and vulnerable human beings.
In both state managed mental hospitals this writer has thus far spent time in, punitive retaliation was laid upon me on basis of me dong not one fucking thing wrong, as follows:
1) After it became obvious to me that the American psychiatrists working at the Arizona State Hospital (ASH), May 2011, were intent upon covering the violent escape of known to be violent patient named Jesus R. Murrieta, I did the right thing by reaching out to the Arizona Republic newspaper in a call right from a patient phone. I stated to the person who answered that call: Just to be clear, I am just another crazy man in the AZ State Hospital. But, would you all be interested in learning about the escape of a dangerous patient?" And, without further detailing the terrifying outcome of this covered up escape of Jesus R. Murrieta, I attest herein that ASH Chief Medical Officer, a very sleazy white male American psychiatrist named Dr. Stephen Dingle, worked in complicity with the known to be untrustworthy hospital CEO, Cory Nelson, in punishing me for having done the right thing in this matter. Yes, this shit led the otherwise preventable murder of a beautiful young Phoenix woman named April Mott. (See: "A Modern Day Horror Story." By P. Jack Reed. April 16, 2012.)
2) I early May, 2015, Montana State Hospital (MSH), I lawfully exercised my right to file two grievance complaints about a very abusive Chinese-American psychiatrist named Dr. Colby Wang, on basis of this doctor's plainly abusive mannerisms. I did this at that time, and went on my way, not caring to hear one thing more about the matter, and telling myself that I would never again be hospitalized in this setting. But, as I learned the hard way, I am not able to control my own illness, and despite any prior misgivings, I found myself again committed by a MT judge to MSH in September, 2016. And sure the fuck enough, Wang chose to lay punitive retaliation upon me on basis of my having lawfully filed those 2015 patient grievances.
This is only way these kind of people know to respond to direct criticism if not mere commentary in disagreement with these grossly inhumane abuses of the rights of mentally ill American children and adults. All they know to do is cry like babies, or to act like wannabe bullies, and so on, as per the behaviors that I can read like a seedy ass comic book.
As stated in recent essay, there are big differences between the common American psychiatrist and myself. Namely, in regard to this essay, in both cases above I did not do not one fucking thing wrong. Much to the contrary, that is, I did the right thing, period. But to these kind of people, these type of 'doctors', the right thing is somehow beyond their own capacity to understand. To them, it is assumed that they are caring persons on basis of having medical degrees, and still believe that it is just to hold it against the openly concerned patient for expressing any such concerns, regardless of the validity of whatever expressed concerns may happen to arise when one is seeking to trust today's American psychiatrist.
Dangerous does not quite provide a full description of the risks these kind of doctors pose to mentally ill American citizens. They are callously indifferent to known harms they have caused for just as long as they have issued false diagnoses of serious mental illness, via adherence to the invalid finding of the accursed Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. A false medical text that can only produce unmeasurable data, thus leaving the American people with no way of knowing just how many otherwise preventable deaths have been caused by these kind of doctors over the last 75+ years.
You cannot measure what you ain't got, in other words, just as you have not proven one fucking thing if all you can provide are unmeasurable findings or outcomes. The kind of people who would agree with relying upon so jaded a manner of approaching medical diagnoses immediately disqualify themselves from being seen as valid scientists or qualified medical doctors.
Them, and their ways, stand out in comparison to valid medical science, and they glare like blood in a spotlight whenever they find themselves immersed among the whole. They are near certainly unpopular as teenagers, and they were assuredly raised in ways that just do nat add up to snuff. The kind of kids many people want nothing to do with, as per the kind of kids this writer would never have hung around with when I was a kid.
I recall Dr. Ira Gaddy trying to impress me by sharing a photo of himself and some other teens who said were his pals. It was embarrassing to observe at the time, just as I was embarrassed in watching this southern raised, corn pone rich kid seeking to sell unproven medical technology to the head working citizens of Montana. They are so very disconnected from the real life experiences of other Americans that it makes me sick today.
Ego, they are not people who can be trusted to care for seriously mentally ill American citizens. The APA remains willfully in enabling bad acting American psychiatrists, and its collective membership remains rife with grossly unethical persons demanding respect as so called trustworthy medical 'doctors.'
I speak from the heart, in relation to what may be gravest of injustices ever seen in modern medical care. It's not as though I am fabricating the fact that mentally ill American remain at high risk of abuse and very vulnerable to the whims of less than compassionate persons. Nor am I fabricating my own described experiences specific to both punitive retaliation as well the fact that public safety mean nothing to these kind of medical professionals.
Fact being, all that this writer has brought to light since 2012 has since been confirmed as reasonable factual over these long years. As in, fact based proven evidence, the polar opposite of the inane mindsets of these kind of 'doctors', which very much extends to the many boneheaded social workers and other like mental health care professionals who work in our nation's always dysfunctional public mental health care system.
None of these narrow minded people have any respect for valid scientific method. As one, they engage in patently misguided approaches to providing care to serious mentally ill American citizens. More often then not they will try to justify they way they go about things by claiming that "this is how the field has always done things." Aa though that justifies ill-advised attitudes or suspect mindsets specific to actually proven methods of working with or around others. it only because they have chosen to work with mentally ill persons that these kind of people act the way they do.
This writer spent 49 years of like prior to ever so much as talking to mental health therapist, etc. Only since my 2010 entry into our nation's ver so fucked up public mental health care system have I had to contend with these kind of Americans. I say this with sincerity, for I am known as pretty decent person, should you ask persons who know me, who are not participants in the ongoing wrongs associated with public mental health care in these United States.
It's fucking 2026, and I am no less shocked to experience these kind of people today than I was in 2010. Fuck, fuck, fuck them and their kind.
And yes, the common American psychiatrist shares in theses gravely shortsighted viewpoints specific to doing things in the same fucking way that they have alaways done things. In their minds, traditions are most precious, and mentally ill people should expect to be treated so badly, as though we are inherently wrongful if not dangerous. They are the same doctors who worked in the horror show hospitals of the not so far past 20th century, and they have no idea how easy it is read their own shitty behaviors in modern history.
Yes, modern, as progressive. These people resist progress and change, are cemented like the dinosaurs in Ls Brea tar pits, frozen in the past, boneheaded Americans who have always held the American people back, and who have been the sole factor that continues to hold mentally ill Americans back.
They still see mentally ill people as permanently damaged and beyond hope. They call some cases "hopeless", in fact, on basis of the many patient who do not fit their own narrow-minded claims. This happened to Dr. Mark Vonnegut when he was first diagnosed with schizophrenia in the early 1970s, after which this seriously mentally ill American come to prove himself as a very competent pediatrician. They called his a "hopeless case", despite them being the only really hopeless people running around tho US today.
As with the female psychiatrist I had to deal with in Show Low, AZ, not long ago, who declared what access to longer term in-patient medical care is "the fancy of socialists>" Yep, they likely back the current US president, and just as likely support the idea of white capitalist takeover of the world itself.
Myself, I have acted as per my best sense of civic duty in challenging these doctors, and do so in calling out the flaws associated the APA, as well as does apply to the invalid medical text cum "bible" of the profession, the accursed DSM.
And while I am may not be a doctor, I am well educated in my own right, having earned both my MA in American Indian Studies (2000), as well as my Juris Doctorate (2004). I have no shame that my own untreated mental illness came to interfere in this given career aspiration.
No, I have used my accrued strengths in seeking to do the right thing, to defend the never yet enforced civil rights of persons who like myself are affected and disabled by serious mental illness. They are bad people, bad Americans, the worst of the worst, who always make a mess of things. Period.
If the APA had its way at various points during the 20th century, eugenics would be an accepted belief, forced sterilizations and control of the American gene pool would be an American way of treating disenfranchised Americans, and homosexual Americans would still be seen as depraved criminals.
They are racist, they are hateful, and they continue to defend that which is a very perverted status quo. It's not beyond this mentally ill American just how fucked up these people really are today. They act no better today than in the past, seeing themselves as somehow endowed in terms of violating the rights of other Americans, and not believing that mentally ill persons are fully deserving human beings.
And in my learned opinion, things are only getting worse, are going backwards. As proven when the aforementioned Providence-St. Patrick's hospital chose to provide Dr. Colby Wang safe haven, a known to be abusive American psychiatrist who was terminated from his position in the Montana State Hospital in 2016, on basis of his known to be very abusive mannerisms.
__________
Yes, 15 years of being wholly justified and proven accurate time and time again, and yet, these are people who just never know what it means to change, no matter how much it is needed. And it is true, the change you don't want may just be the only change that matters. Those who cannot see these nature of human dynamics as pertains to how we see and treat one another in these United States, they are the same troublemakers of old, wearing slightly toned down garb, but acting much like they always have.

I would really love input of any kind from anybody with any interest whatsoever in the issues that I am sharing in this blog. I mean it, anybody, for I will be the first one to admit that I may be inaccurately depicting certain aspects of the conditions
at ASH, and anonymous comments are fine. In any case, I am more than willing to value anybody's feelings about my writing, and I assure you that I will not intentionally exploit or otherwise abuse your right to express yourself as you deem fit. This topic is far, far too important for anything less. Thank you, whoever you are. Peace and Frogs.
