Will Humble Is A Class Act Coward: Wherein, dozens of good faith attempts to directly communicate with the Director of the  Arizona Department of Health Services are ignored.

ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED AUGUST 14, 2012.

UPDATE 2015: By the point in time that this article was originally  published,  and despite the now proven fact that Cory "This is the type of (expletive) that gets people in my position fired" Nelson was deeply engaged in criminal mischief that did in time lead to the death of Chris Blackman (just to mention one aspect of the man's deeply negative impacts on the operation of ASH), then ADHS director Will "Yea Team!" Humble did in his own right contribute in condoning the substandard care practices and overall conditions in the state of Arizona's sole long term public mental facility. Given every opportunity to step up and do the right thing when he had the chance, with respect for the fact that I was committed to informing Humble of my knowledge about the most critical issues needing immediate attention at that juncture in time (2012), this highly entrusted state official turned a blind eye to the facts as they were presented to him. As such, he patently refused to remain transparent when I, and persons such as David Biscobing of Phoenix area ABC Ch15, directly sought his attention, this as the general investigation(s) of ASH was building speed. In doing so, the then director of the state's overall public health care system willfully furthered the abuses of ASH patients and general negligence of ASH nurses and physicians, which did as a matter of fact lead to several avoidable tragedies- as in deaths. And today? Will Humble is currently (Jan. 2015) the acting Division Director for Health Policy and Evaluation at the Center for Population Science and Discovery, at the University of Arizona's Health Sciences Center. Just as with persons such as ASH's current chief medical officer Dr. Steven Dingle and assistant attorney Joel Rudd, this particular Rat Bastard has yet to be held accountable on any level whatsoever. Still getting away with it, in other words. For now.

Will Humble Is A Class Act Coward.
August 14, 2012

No need to spend a lot of time on this update. But, as noted in several recent articles, good faith attempts to establish an open line of communication between anybody in the administrative office(s) of the
Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and myself with direct respect for the fact that any number of citizens of the state of Arizona are putting themselves at risk by doing what they can to contribute meaningful information about the substandard conditions at The Arizona State Hospital (ASH) were snubbed after I entered my concerns through Will Humble's public blog, snubbed to the point where he has refused to even post my inquiries on the official ADHS website, where his blog is found.

Will "Yea team!!!" Humble, of course, is the czar elite' in Arizona's entire public health care system, and if anybody has a keen idea of the out of control state of affairs at ASH, it is him. But for some goddamn reason, Mr. Humble blatantly refuses to respond to civil and well presented, legitimate inquiries about clear and factual data in the form of staff reports and the testimony of someone like myself, a former client of the ADHS network and patient at ASH for a period of 13 full months. Following the submittal of my formal inquiries through the ADHS website and Mr. Humble's blog, and the ensuing refusal of ADHS to so much as grant the public access to my concerns- (and to hell with Mr. Humble taking the trouble with responding to them, I mean, the site and his freaking blog is packaged and presented as an open door avenue for the citizen-consumers of Arizona's public to interact with him, but if he hasn't the time to respond personally, okay already: But at least have the decency to share my good faith concerns with the public!)- I and several of my supporters have in recent days taken the time and expended the costs of placing long distance phone calls directly to the administrative offices of Mr. Humble, and as per my direction, nobody has expressed themselves in anything other than very civil, polite, and well grounded terms of communication; and this is the party line of responses we have documented:

"No comment." As though we represent the media.

"Mr. Humble is not directly responsible for the content of the blog." As
though we are stupid enough to buy that.

"Would you like to leave Mr. Humble a message?" As though my
postings to the ADHS website  and Mr. Humble's blog somehow do not
suffice in terms of  leaving "messages."

In any case, messages were left when we called, and in the seven to ten full days since we conducted these attempts to get some, any nature of direct response as to why PJ Reed's input to Will Humble's blog have been suppressed from public oversight and participation, nothing has been heard. No sign, not a wisp of dutiful, reasonably good faith respect in the form of humane concern for the fact that there are some fairly civic minded individuals who were both "treated" at ASH- (as I was, BUT: My time at ASH was anything but therapeutic, for the most part, and today, issues relating to post traumatic stress caused by childhood abuse are being comprehensively addressed for the first time in the state where I reside today, not to mention incestuous childhood sexual abuse, and various other aspects of the underlying factors to my status as a seriously mentally disabled citizen of the United States, the bulk of which was never addressed via any of my communications with my FOUR assigned primary care doctors at ASH, despite my clear communications at the time about these very personal aspects of my history, because all they cared about was my willingness to speak out about patient abuse, which they always categorically denied or otherwise effectively castigated me for expressing), as well as individuals who either do work or did (formerly) work at ASH between January, 2011, and February, 2012, all of us trying to make clear to Will "Yea team!!!" Humble, Cory "crazycorycorner.weebly.com" Nelson, and anybody within hearing distance that:

THE CONDITIONS AT ASH ARE OUT OF CONTROL.

RARELY, IF EVER, HAVE I EVER SEEN SO BLATANT A DISPLAY OF GUILTY BEHAVIOR. WILL HUMBLE IS LIKE A SPOILED CHILD WHO REFUSES TO RESPOND WHEN HIS CARING GRAND PARENTS INQUIRE AS TO WHY HE STOLE THE CHRISTMAS GOOSE. IT IS REVOLTING TO WITNESS, AND VASTLY WORSE TO EXPERIENCE. THIS, THE TEXTBOOK EXPERIENCE(S) OF ASH' PATIENTS.

IN CLOSING: So there you have it, a rant of sorts, but it's all part of a process. My current therapist has expressed clear concern about the effects of my experiences at The Arizona State Hospital, correctly identifying the fact any willingness of administrative and clinical staff in public health facilities who for whatever goddamn reason would choose to ignore any patient or persons' good faith and reasonably legitimate concerns about patient abuse and staff misconduct in general is inevitably going to deter the already vulnerable state of mind that an individual such as I has to deal with, diagnosed as I am with major depressive disorder and associated traits, including off and on again suicidal ideation that flows from parental negligence and abuse (etal; ABUSE OF AUTHORITY). Thus, today, as I negotiate the world of intensive outpatient therapy and treatment for my needs as a seriously mentally ill man, I am bewildered by how it can possibly be that I, a virtual baby in terms of the mental health community, could so easily recognize the depths of evil and deeply illegal misconduct of so many so called "professionals." But then it all becomes crystal clear, as I recall- again- that the staff at ASH carry on with their blatant willingness to abuse patient rights, care, and general needs, on the basis of nothing more mysterious than the fact that we- the patients at ASH- are disabled by mental illness.

Evil incarnate, feeding on the weak; socially sanctioned psychopathy and sickeningly narcissitic belief in the concept that power and status is tantamount to justifying one's own lack of moral behavior, and only God or Beelzebub (take your pick) knows what else.

FAST FORWARD JANUARY 17, 2015: Get with it, people. You know who you are, and I am giving you no more then 7 days to take the appropriate action when it comes to meeting your due diligence as the new officials most directly responsible for seeing that ASH operates in strict compliance with established medical standards.

I would really love input of any kind from anybody with any interest whatsoever in the issues that I am sharing in this blog. I mean it, anybody, for I will be the first one to admit that I may be inaccurately depicting certain aspects of the conditions
at ASH, and anonymous comments are fine. In any case, I am more than willing to value anybody's feelings about my writing, and I assure you that I will not intentionally exploit or otherwise abuse your right to express yourself as you deem fit. This topic is far, far too important for anything less. Thank you, whoever you are. Peace and Frogs.
