The 2013 Murder of
James Boyd.

Random Notes. He has a five day along looking beard, is maybe 30-35 years old or older, wears shorts in what are still too chilly conditions, and as he moves along the sidewalk with his yes turned down eyes to the ground in front of him on his path, is engaging in a conversation with himself if not his demons, hand motions in accompaniment, quite obviously a mentally ill man living on the streets. His time here, on this earth, is marked, given that mentally ill men and women in those circumstances remain 8-9% more at risk of violence to be imparted upon us but other persons who are not affected by mental illness. And, as per recent developments specific to further limitations of access to care in the interest and as per the care and safety needs of seriously mentally ill American citizens, the man is one of tens of millions of such mental ill Americans who will possibly if not likely ever grow much older.

All such concerns can be blamed on the American Psychiatric Association's graphically corrupted protocols, which extends by practical necessity to systemic indifference specific to the vast majority of its own collective membership. These are trusted medical professionals who have yet to put the interests of their own patients on equal footing with themselves. There lack of concern for mentallly ill American mirrors the of the general public, all too many of whom remain ignorant about mental illness, which directly benefits the maligned aims of these kind of people. in fact, public ignorance about mental illness is yet one more thing that can be justly blamed upon the APA, for it knows very well that such ignorance directly benefits the ability of bad acting American psychiatrists to continue getting away with glaringly atrocious wrongdoing, including all too many otherwise preventable harms and deaths.

It is well known record that seriously mentally ill persons die at much younger ages that the general public, and as stated, the homeless mentally man described above may not come to see the age of 45. These people, these uncaring American psychiatrists, stand out today as the least ethical medical professionals in the history of modern medicine, a status associated with the profession itself for many, many long years.

P. Jack Reed. Portland, OR. March 16, 2026.

I spent some time visiting downtown Portland, OR, several days ago and was not entirely surprised by number of homeless men and women I saw at various spots in the given landscape. Many tents, some right on downtown sidewalks, and yes, and is always the case, a nociale number of persons affected by mental illness. This a direct consequence of the fact that today, state managed mental hospitals are discriminating against those of us who have no history of violence, which does apply to me personally.

Having spent well over 3 full years in in-patient psychiatric care settings, I have never lifted so much as a finger towards any member of hospital staff nor any one my many peers. Did this matter to the dirty psychiatrists working in the Providence-St. Patrick's acute "NBMI" psychiatric care setting in Missoula, MT, after I had been targeted by a very hateful false accusation leveled to me by low ranked staff technician in the early hours of Christmas, 2019? Of course it didn't. They don't give a rat's ass about their own patients, care not about the direct harms when one is victimized by such hateful false accusations.

They are all in very real of lasting due accountability, and many very need to have their licenses to practice medicine stripped of them, as would any medcical doctor willing to put the health and safety interests of their own patients far behind their own interests as medical professionals. And given the many otherwise preventable harms and deaths caused by all too many of today's American psychiatrists, there is equal need for due criminal charges. They have more than once proven that they very feel above the same laws that apply to all US citizens, and as such, have proven themselves and criminally minded in so many cases that it will never sit well with this writer.

On top of exacerbating the symptoms of their own patients, via abusing them, they may well cause otherwise wholly unexpected diagnoses. Who would bot develop anxiety in knowing that by openly challenging abuse of one's own peers or by merely defending one's own rights, they more often than not subject their own patients to punitive retaliation.

I can and I do attest to as much. I have been repeatedly been subjected to punitive retaliation, and attest as well that in no way, in these cases, have I ever done one fuckoing thing wrong. It gets the way, doing the rights, and then being subject to this shit. Yes, anytime I enter in-patient psychiatric care settings, and other like public service settings, I do all but immediately grow anxious when I enter such settings. Knowing that should I so much as mention problems that I know need to be reported, that these kind of people will act out in punitive retaliation.

It's horrible to experience, nothing shot of that. But to them, they care not, they continue to get away abusing their own patients. I have gone through this as recently as the Show Low, AZ, hospital I was in, kicked out as soon a raised my own concerns. They care not about the medical needs of their own patients, no more than they do care about our civil rights. They pose very real threat to mentally ill Americans who may not be able accept being teated so badly.

And even as write sun things, I always get nervous, as though I have no right to defend my own rights. They are so ver set on preserving the status quo, that they will go great lengths as means to make sure that nobody will challenge them. That, in truth, is quite frightening to have to deal with people like this. They a

A highly insecure
American male.
Who just so happens
to be a
psychiatrist
in Missoula, MT.

A flash from the past. 2013.

My only aim is to clarify one critical reality:

Despite the fact most of the staff at ASH knew about this escape, no staff member of the state's sole public mental health care facility had the courage to step forward and share the details of the escape with the public in any fashion or context, was well in terms of subsequent news reports that loudly published Murietta's role in April Mott's death almost 90 days after he escaped. The unwillingness of staff to take such action flows directly from the highly illegal practice  of retaliation that senior ASH clinical staff and administrators wield when and if anyone- staff and patients alike- make waves via openly sharing information about the internal conditions at ASH. The simple fact is that if I- while hospitalized at ASH- had not taken the initiative to concern myself with fairly obvious administrative misconduct in relation to ASH's senior clinical and executive staff specific to the escape, there is every possibility that no aspect of the underlying history of this affair would have ever surfaced. In other words, if they had had their way as per standard practice at ASH and beyond in the ADHS/BHS public health care system,  the Hospital's administrative staff  including Rudd, Dingle, Morris, ASH C.O.O. Donna Noriega, Froio, etc., and the immediate supervisors in the Arizona Department of Health Services (including ADHS Director Will Humble) would have kept a tight wrap on the fact that an escaped ASH patient brutally murdered an innocent young woman, and Jesus Murietta would have never been identified as such, subject to criminal prosecution with no regard for his mental illness and related civil rights in terms of due process and equal protection. Likewise, if ASH staff had merely done the right thing and issued a formal report specific to Murietta's escape at the time it occurred, April Mott would still be alive today. And yes, I was systematically retaliated against once senior ASH staff became aware of my efforts to report the escape itself. This is the state of affairs as it stands today, and I can prove it.

And yet, not one thing has yet come to the better, on point with the fact that these are the kind of Americans who will refuse to change one thing about their own behaviors- regardless how badly they still behave- until someone tells them to do as much. Mirroring how they were raised, and the express type of Americans that they are. They have never proven that see mentally ill persons as fully deserving human beings, just as they have flouted known scientific method as means to generate patently false diagnosis of serious illness that just so happens to be serious mental illness.

They just cannot seem to understand that illness is illness, and that mentally ill Americans in many cases suffer from very serious illness. They have never been willing to see the 'illness' in mental illness, just as they cannot seem to understand that they benefit from the same civil rights that all Americans benefit from equally. They are beyond mere selfishness in this regard, have been raised to believe that only they have the right to our shared civil rights, and that in their care, they deserve a lion's share of such rights and directly associated benefits.

April Mott.

Shameless and grossly unethical, these people have been lying to the American people for the better part of the last century if not more. They have generating invalid diagnosis of mental illness for just as long as the DSM has been published (1952), not quite 75 full years of lying in this context.  We have no reason to care why these people behave in this manner, we care not whit what excuses they may choose to come up with. No, they are killing American citizens and feeling it is perfectly acceptable, as though only normal.

All such attitudes and mindsets are grounded in age old prejudices towards lesser empowered US citizens, and these kind of people have behaving this way for all too fucking long. They will continue to keep getting away this shit until that point when the American people again raise our voices as one and again tell them how to behave. As has happened on a half dozen occasions stemming back to the darkness of the early 20th century.

Arrogant, insecure'
white male American.
The son of  a white Mississippi doctor.
White wealth in the Deep South,
and all that that implies.

No other way to put. The most dangerous medical professionals in the history of western medicine. And the most dangerous Americans in the our nation's medical establishment. The many ass kissing dumbasses who defend them on basis of not knowing the first fuckong thing about medicine, in fact, also deserve full accountability in terms of their own contributions to this unknowable number of otherwise preventable harms and deaths over the last 75-100 years.

Fuck them and their ways. Period.

Note: The editor and founder of this publication, P. Jack Reed, offers his services today as an expert witness specific to either civil actions, or better yet, criminal prosecutions of American psychiatrists subject to such prosecution in our otherwise great nation's criminal courts. In this latter sense, I ask no more than straight up costs with no nature of fee arrangement; while in the former case, a contracted  flat fee grounded in possible awards via a successful civil action, no more than 6% depending upon the specific issues most at stake.

And yes, since this public blog was first published in April, 2012, a justifiable and wholly righteous process that did serve to bring about long past due federal oversight and intervention specific to the hospital wide corruption and the bad acting American psychiatrists working for the Arizona State Hospital circa 2011-2015, nothing has changed in lasting fashion.

I would really love input of any kind from anybody with any interest whatsoever in the issues that I am sharing in this blog. I mean it, anybody, for I will be the first one to admit that I may be inaccurately depicting certain aspects of the conditions
at ASH, and anonymous comments are fine. In any case, I am more than willing to value anybody's feelings about my writing, and I assure you that I will not intentionally exploit or otherwise abuse your right to express yourself as you deem fit. This topic is far, far too important for anything less. Thank you, whoever you are. Peace and Frogs.
