URBAN ALLIGATORS

Still awaiting word on the July 16, 2012, hearing. But, I do know that assistant Arizona Attorney General Joel "the mortician" Rudd is on the ropes, so to speak. The only reason that rat bastard has gone to the lengths he has in order to suppress the data I was willing to share with the court the other day, as discussed in my last article, is because he is going to face very serious reaction should my claims about his complicity in the issues established in this case gain any credence once this data is determined to be valid. I feel, as such, and perhaps over hopefully, that he is squirming just like the weasel that he is.  But, I really cannot predict what the court will actually find once the various input provided is fully laid out on the table. Not that it really matters, either, my speculation. Because one way or the other, this will be settled within the letter of the law, however far we have to take it.

the true urban alligator

defined less
by the animal

than by the seeker

hot sticky
trash lined
concrete buttresses
railroad tracks

inner city

within sight of

the water treatment plant

the electric plant

turbine coolers

chain link fences

thick thick thick
underbrush and trees
you know
there are bodies here

this place
this dump
this idyllic clumsy
man made sore
not far at all

from home

to look above below
beyond and yet
of the water, life is

that simple, and yet

in focus with a surface

there is always

something stalking

something else

somewhere, in some fashion

tides ever working
just like that, the tides
and the movement of the moon
and the movement in the brush
the shadows there just beneath the surface
the ripples by the overhanging tree limb

the man
with the torn weathered coat
always there,
behind the trellis,
stalker.

i am looking at shifts in the light
and putting names on it all
disturbances in the water
causing alarm; undue?

while the bugs settle in
to the rest of this day
light moving
air heating, air cooling
things falling

from the trees
odors arising
saluting the events
like bums
in a toledo subway.

i hardly matter, my words-
a thunderstorm either
awakens us, me
the bugs the bushes
electricity in the air
this is after all
hurricane country,
or conversely
puts us back to sleep.
Hello!

I would really love input of any kind from anybody with any interest whatsoever in the issues that I am sharing in this blog. I mean it, anybody, for I will be the first one to admit that I may be inaccurately depicting certain aspects of the conditions
at ASH, and anonymous comments are fine. In any case, I am more than willing to value anybody's feelings about my writing, and I assure you that I will not intentionally exploit or otherwise abuse your right to express yourself as you deem fit. This topic is far, far too important for anything less. Thank you, whoever you are. Peace and Frogs.
